1989 Dodge Ram 50 Gen 3 Hemi Drag Truck Update 2: For Sale

Truck:
1989 Dodge Ram D50 long box. Cut a foot off the back of the frame and sectioned the box to make a modified short box. Floor was completely cut out to fit in the roll cage. Floor mostly welded back in, but still some patching to do around the transmission. All glass is good. Rear glass comes with it, but will currently not fit in with the roll cage. Front bumper also included.

Frame:
Completely ground down. Obsolete tabs removed, added stiffners but actually comes boxed from factory. 8 point roll cage welded to the frame. Rear diff is a Ford 8.8 LSD. Coil overs in the rear, and also a 4 link from Hortons Welder Series.

Drivetrain:
2005 Dodge 5.7 Hemi. Non mds, Arrington Performance (ShopHemi) cnc heads, 6.1 cam, springs, lifters and rods. Msd Blaster coils and 90mm BBK throttle body. Holley alternator relocation bracket.

Controlled by the Holley Terminator X Max harness and computer with drive by wire.

Transmission is a 727 automatic with a trans brake, 3000 stall and a Hays conversion flexplate to mate up to the modern hemi. The parking rod was bent when a new tailshaft was installed, so we removed it. Will still go through the gears but will not lock up if you put it in park.

Over $10,000 invested into project. Will sell complete package for $8000. We do have a chassis dyno and experience tuning Holley, so we can also offer a free tuning session if purchased complete.
