God Is Still With You
🌿 Devotional Content
Some mornings, your body may rise, but your heart still feels buried in yesterday’s weight. The world wakes up, but you’re still waiting for peace to rise inside of you. And in the quiet ache of that moment, a question whispers in your soul: “God, are You still with me?”
The answer is yes — He never left.
The Bible reminds us:
“Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.”
— Psalm 139:7–10
Even in your most silent battles, even when the answers don’t come and your heart feels empty, God is with you. Not watching from a distance, but holding you gently, faithfully — even when you don’t feel it.
Like Peter casting nets all night with nothing to show (Luke 5), or Hagar weeping in a wilderness where no one else saw her pain (Genesis 16), the stillness you’re facing isn’t a sign that God has forgotten you. It’s the very space where He is preparing to move powerfully. His grace is not loud, but it is always present. His nearness is not always felt, but it never fades. Your story is not stalled — it’s being written with heaven’s care.
So today, pause and breathe. You don’t have to figure everything out. You don’t have to be strong. Just know this — God is still with you, and His hand is holding you through.
📝 Reflection Questions
What part of your heart feels heavy or silent this morning?
Can you remember a time when God carried you through something you didn’t see coming?
How might God be present in your waiting — not absent, but preparing something deeper?
What would it look like today to trust that His silence is not distance, but preparation?
🙏 Prayer of Blessing
Father, today we rest in the quiet truth that You are still with us.
Even when answers don’t come, You are not absent — You are present.
Even when the weight feels too heavy, Your grace is lifting us up.
Bless this dear soul reading now — calm every fear, lift every burden,
and let Your presence wrap around them like a warm covering.
Remind them that they are not alone, not forgotten, and not unloved.
Let today be filled with peace, strength, and holy confidence.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
