The camera light blinked on, and Brettski exhaled slowly, staring at the massive wheel behind him. Neon wedges spun lazily, each one labeled with a comment pulled straight from his audience—strangers on the internet deciding his fate for the night. This was Wheel Wednesday. And tonight felt… different.

He read the first challenge out loud, forcing a grin. “Max bet roulette. No stopping until a win.” The wheel spun. Click. Click. Click. It landed dead center.

The casino noise faded as Brettski sat at the table, palms sweating. Red. Black. Red again. The stack doubled, then vanished. The comment section would eat this up.

Back at the wheel, Brettski swallowed and spun again.

“Slot machine of the casino’s choice. Minimum spins: fifty.”

Lights flashed. Reels blurred. Twenty spins in—nothing. Forty spins—still nothing. On spin forty-nine, the machine teased a bonus, then snatched it away. Brettski laughed, but his eyes were tight. The wheel wasn’t done.

Spin three.

“Dealer’s choice table game. Max bet first hand.”

The dealer smiled when Brettski sat down. A little too knowingly. Cards slid across the felt. Brettski barely breathed. The hand lost by a single card. Just like that.

The wheel loomed again.

“This one’s big,” Brettski muttered, reading the final comment. “All remaining bankroll… on one spin.”

The camera zoomed in as the wheel spun faster than before, rattling loudly, the click echoing like a countdown. The wedge names blurred together—safe challenges, insane challenges, one mystery slot labeled only with a question mark.

The wheel slowed.

Click.

Click.

Click.

It bounced once… twice… and stopped.

Brettski stared at the result, his face draining of color. He looked up at the camera, speechless for the first time all night.

“Guys…” he finally said, voice barely above a whisper. “This wasn’t supposed to be on the wheel.”

The casino lights flickered.

And the screen cut to black.
