Ed's qualification for such demanding writing missions? Ed flew several different types of fighter jets he has the same number of take off's as landings. He has fought 375 combat missions.After peace broke out, he instructed fighter pilots from a dozen allied nations.When he was not flying he was imbedded in the intelligence world developing a unique set of skills which he has applied to his books. In his books, he depicts a fighter pilot's life on the ground and in the air, their aircraft, their lovers and their times.
