The NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series stopped at The Monster Mile over the weekend and the racing action didn't disappoint. Xfinity rookie Hailie Deegan followed up her career-best performance of 12th at Talladega with a challenging day on the mile-long track that started when she caused an accident on Lap 5. She admitted her mistake over the team radio.

Unfortunately, fans watching at home never saw what happened because Fox unsurprisingly missed it. Interestingly, JJ Yeley wrongly accused Dawson Cram of causing it and Cram responded.

In Sunday's Cup race, Denny Hamlin won for a third-time in 2024, holding off a hard-charging Kyle Larson at the end. During the race, Hamlin's JGR teammate Ty Gibbs was not happy with his 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace and shared his displeasure, including multiple f-bombs over the team radio.

Also, Ryan Preece finished last after smoke began filling up the cockpit of the No. 41 car in the first stage. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver was not happy after his day ended early, calling what happened "unnecessary and preventable."
