Alyssa & Linh Surprise Wedding Proposal

"Wow, so happy for my sister Linh and her girlfriend Alyssa.
For everyone that doesn’t know the full story- Alyssa is a talented singer but is also an ICU nurse working the front lines with covid patients in Brooklyn. She has been doing this since mid March and has quarantined herself from her family and my sister to continue working the frontlines. My sister has been with me and Julian since in Kingston.

Last night my sister thought she was surprising Alyssa for her birthday (yes it was also Alyssa’s bday last night), so she came out to a hand chalked heart @tfcornerstone where Alyssa stood to “surprise” her at 7pm 👏🏽 on the dot for the nyc cheer for frontline workers. When she got to Alyssa, Alyssa surprised my sister instead by getting down on one knee and proposing 😱🌈.

Thank you to everyone that helped pull this together and to the hundreds of strangers that clapped and came down from their buildings to support #love. In that exact moment we and nyc - all felt what love is ❤️ . ."
