Land use / Land cover Change Detection Analysis Using Landsat Images in ENVI

LULC change detection is an important application of remote sensing image interpretation that aims to compare and analyze two (or more) remote sensing images taken at different times in the same region and obtain change information about the ground object.Roughly speaking, change detection methods in remote sensing and GIS are based on finding discrepancies in two satellite images before and after a certain event.

In this video we've shown the easiest way to landcover/landuse change detection in the Envi software. Although The proposed method has been applied on the Landsat images in this video, you can apply on other images in the same way.
