I am made the smallest size using Lionbrand’s Comfy Cotton in the Cloud Nine colorway with a 5mm crochet hook. I have made the top a bit longer and have also added sleeves using a filigree stitch pattern.

Pressing On:
1. I continue to work on The Cross-stitched Top crochet pattern. It is a paid-for pattern that can be found at https://www.darngoodyarn.com/products....

I am using Quince & Co Sparrow (sport weight organic linen) in the colorways: Little fern, Sans, Citron and Buttercup and a 2.25 mm crochet hook. The pattern only has one size, S/M. I discuss my many mishaps with the pattern not due to an improper pattern but to my misunderstanding of the pattern. I also chat about some modifications that I have made to my version of the top.

2. I recently decided to make a dress to wear to my son’s wedding in October.

My first option was to make a vintage dress pattern I purchased on Etsy at called https://www.etsy.com/shop/ChicVintage... called The Hostess Flower Dress. When I found the yarn I had purchased would not be appropriate for the pattern I chose a new pattern from Annie’s Crochet (https://www.anniescatalog.com) called the Everlasting Wedding Dress. This is going to take me a considerable amount of crochet time and I am hoping to finish in two months.
