On CBS daytime, The Young and the Restless has Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) caught in a complicated dynamic, stuck between Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

This intensifies as Nick seems drawn to his old habits and old flame, Sharon, possibly signaling the end of his relationship with Sally. It was understandable when he was defending Sharon and their daughter.

But the danger is done and Sally's at rock bottom after losing her baby... So, where is Nick and why is he not taking better care of her if he loves her as he says...

On Y&R, Nick's attention is increasingly being drawn elsewhere. On top of this, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) stirs the pot further by advising Nick to take time off to support Sally during her grieving period.

Instead of taking his sister's advice (even though she was being self-serving), Nick's not with Sally and is focusing on Sharon's ongoing drama instead.

With July sweeps kicking off on The Young and the Restless, it seems they're setting the stage for a Nick Newman and Sally Spectra breakup because of her grief and him focusing on his ex-wife on Y&R.
