Lake Spaulding was full, but Scotts Flat Lake level was going down as a rockslide destroyed a section of the South Yuba Canal below the Lake Spaulding dam. Repairs are under way, and water is starting to flow down the canal. But there are other problems in Powerhouse #2, which feeds the canal. Powerhouse #1 feed the Drum Canal, which flows into Rollins Reservoir.
