Leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, sets out exactly why the doctor strikes must end. This is the twelfth strike in just two years. Junior doctors were already given a 28 percent pay rise last year with no conditions, yet they’re back with more demands. This latest strike will cost taxpayers 367 million pounds. Kemi explains why this is unfair, unsustainable, and why Labour is doing nothing to stop it.

In this video, Kemi lays out our plan to protect the NHS and patients. First, we will ban disruptive doctor strikes, just like we already do for the military and police. Second, we will introduce minimum service levels, so that even during disputes, basic care continues. And third, we will stand up to the militant leadership of the BMA, who are putting ideology before patients.

Labour talk tough but refuse to act. They will not stand up to the unions or their own MPs. That is why we are offering to work with them to put patients first. And if they won’t join us, we will do it anyway. The Conservative Party will not sit back while the NHS is brought to its knees. We will act, we will lead, and we will protect the British public.
