CYCLE-RE by Anastasia Lonšakova. Cycle-RE won a special Neringa Municipality Award 'For the Best Revelation of the Neringa Landscape' and Best. The work was inspired by Maya Deren’s approach to filmmaking, and affordances in the environment to create the physical language found in the film.

For the eighteenth time young cinema professionals and university students from all over the Globe will gather at the Lithuanian seaside town of Nida. During an intensive two-week workshop Summer Media Studio (SMS) they will start a discussion about interactive dance in film. The workshop will begin on the 20th of June and will last until the 2nd of July. SMS 2016 will provide a unique opportunity for filmmakers and dance practitioners to explore the crossover of cinematic techniques, dance, choreography and editing. During the workshop professional tutors will introduce to the meaning of interactive dance and will guide all attendees during the workshop. The workshop will include the use of AR or Augmented Reality. Through combination of lectures, screenings and film shooting participants will learn to work in international teams in order to make their own short interactive dance film. With an assistance of industry professionals and lecturers 5 international shooting crews will accomplish 5 short films. Location 2016 - Nida Art Colony http://nidacolony.lt/
