This is gonna be based on the tv show emergency like I did back from 2021 to 2022 and Station 49 is at the seat of Los Angeles County with all the other city fire department stations such as Light Force 26 etc, Carson is where most of the tv show emergency took place at station 127 and not station 106 because station 106 has a bad spot to put engine 51 and squad 51 in and needs to be near the road for easy access to it and head to the box quicker. Randolph Mantooth was in Squad 51 for 5 years that’s a total of 7 tv seasons in that series and then it was cancelled in 1977 after Randolph Mantooth who played as John Gage and Kevin Tighe who played as Roy Desoto were promoted to captain and were relocated to two different firehouses across the county, no more Station 51 after they were promoted and no more driving Squad 51 as paramedics after that, but the reason why Randy took part in being a paramedic is because he was nominated to do the job, originally he was a rescue man in Squad 10 which was on B shift at Station 8 in Hollywood and after the Wedsworth Townsend Act movie was filmed they moved Station 10 back to their own quarters and Station 8 was moved back to their quarters in Hollywood, John Gage got to visit his old firehouse when it was Station 10 when he was there, he was looking for Stony who himself was a paramedic but was promoted to captain before John, after the pager and call went out for Squad 8, John found Stony because he ran into the bay like they should but he should’ve responded with Squad 8 but stayed at the firehouse to catch up with his best friend colleague and former paramedic colleague, he said: “Captain Stone fireman Gage reporting for duty sir.” Stoney was pleased to see Gage again, Gage congratulated Stoney on his promotion to captain and they got themselves a cup of coffee in the kitchen, after that Engine 8 and Squad 39 were dispatched to a man down at 741 3rd Street which is directly near where the high voltage electrocution call was in the Wedsworth Townsend Act movie when Squad 10 was called out there with Truck 127, they arrived on scene at the cardiac arrest victim and they were under equipped because Engine 8 had absolutely no medical equipment on board so they had to wait several minutes for Squad 39 to arrive with the proper medical equipment they desperately needed to save this man’s life, Gage called Rampart on a landline phone because they had no biophone on board as well, and Brackett (Robert Fuller) was very puzzled on why it was gonna take Squad 39 10 minutes to arrive on scene, as soon as Squad 39 arrived on the scene Gage charged towards Squad 39 and helped carry the equipment because there was a very desperate need to restart this man’s heart, so an IV was placed into the man’s vein, the proper medication was injected, and they managed to restart his heart but as soon as they got him into the hospital into the emergency room and onto the emergency bed they had to restart his heart yet again and about 3 paramedics including John Gage being one of the 3 paramedics Doctor Kelly Brackett (Robert Fuller) Nurse Dixie McCall (Julie London) and Doctor Joe Early (Bobby Troup) were all on this assignment to save this man’s life yet again.
