How To Replace a Coleman Fuel Pump

In this Steve's Garage video I replace the fuel pump found on Coleman stoves and lantern. A great indication of needing to replace the pump on your Coleman stove or lantern is that the fuel tank never builds pressure. If the tank never builds pressure, you can't light the stove or lantern. Luckily these pumps are readily available at many online or brick and mortar stores. If you find your Coleman stove or lantern isn't working properly, the solution is most likely easily (and inexpensively) found!

Depending on the year of the Coleman stove or lantern, it can use a different style pump. The repair kit includes parts for both, so all you have to do is match up what you've got on your Coleman product to what's in the repair kit. I have the older style pump because of the age of my Coleman stove, but this video will still help you replace the pump no matter the year or style.
