The reopening comes four months after the nation's biggest city Sydney welcomed back international visitors. Tearful reunions have played out at Perth's Airport as the first flight landed just minutes after the curbs were lifted. Strict entry bans had been in place since the start of the pandemic, keeping out not just international but domestic travellers as well.
