3. Good day, my name is Eduard, I from Donetsk and now I live with my family in Moldova. In 2015 we had to leave the country because we were in the ATO zone, where military operations were held. With the mercy of God, we escaped from that region; it was in general difficult to move across the country. We reached Mariupol; it was almost impossible to get out of Donetsk, we had to go to Kiev to our friends and we arrived in Mariupol. In Mariupol the train station was bombed and we had to depart from village situated 10 km further. The next day this village was almost completely bombed. With God’s mercy we arrived in Kiev, at our friends’; when we had to decide what to do next I realized that my passport was invalid, as I turned 45 by that time. The authorities in Kiev understood my situation and issued a new passport. Afterwards we obtained all other necessary documents to leave the country. In this way, after a time we arrived in Moldova. Now I have a residence permit. I and my wife have 2 children. My older son goes to a Ukrainian school. Thank God we are alive. Our house in Ukraine is destroyed, people destroy it; we can’t go back there… We were well received in Moldova. Thank you.
