Harrogate in North Yorkshire is a popular place for visitors. Watch my walking tour of Harrogate from the Victoria Car Park, through Harrogate town centre.

Harrogate is situated close to the Yorkshire Dales, a highly regarded travel asset for international and domestic visitors to the UK. This makes Harrogate situated with a unique advantage to many other towns in Yorkshire.

Throughout the town centre you will find a variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty of things to show why Harrogate would be such a popular place to visit.

This was my first visit to Harrogate, where the footage captured was from the perspective of a first time visitor. This may help you see what it might feel like to visit Harrogate town centre for the first time.

Being from a country town in Australia, it is not often I can walk through such a seemingly busy place like Harrogate and feel like I could live there.
I guess I may not be able to feel the same way if i experienced Harrogate during the summer months, which I intend to find out.

While Harrogate is one of the nicer places I have visited since moving to the UK, it is worth noting that most of my great experiences here have been in North Yorkshire.
