Gracing the stage of Mornings@ANC for the first time since bagging the Season 78 Women's Volleyball championship on Saturday, the DLSU Lady Spikers revealed their tough journey to the championship.

Finals MVP Kim Kianna Dy said they played their best in the do-or-die match against the Ateneo Lady Eagles.

"After the championship, syempre sobrang masaya yung feeling. Syempre, yung motivation kasi namin, is for our seniors since we want them to finish their last year na maganda," she said.

Meanwhile, Ara Galang and Kim Fajardo both said it was teamwork, through wins and losses, among the girls and the coaches that enabled them to bring back the crown to Taft.

Throughout the finals, graduating Mika Reyes received booing from the crowd, but she shrugs this off as "part lang yun ng game, part lang yun ng rivalry with Ateneo."

All five graduating seniors vow to focus on their studies at the moment, and also to keep their doors open should an opportunity to play in the pro-leagues knock.

The team expressed gratitude to the La Salle Community and all their supporters and told them to stay put as they all move towards the next season.
