True Story of Mahabodhi Temple - Hindi

Mahabodhi Temple is located in Bodh Gaya, Bihar is a famous Buddhist monastery.
UNESCO has declared it as World Heritage.
This Vihar stands in the same place where Lord Gautam Buddha had acquired knowledge in the sixth century BC.
After three days and night penance, he received knowledge, after which he was known as Buddha.
This temple was built by Emperor Ashoka, it is said that when this temple was built then there was no such craftsman who could make an attractive idol of Lord Gautam Buddha.
One day a man came and expressed his wish to make an idol. He kept two conditions, the first condition was that he should be given a stone pillar and a lamp, and according to the second condition, it would take 6 months to build the temple and till then no one would enter the temple and see the idol.
Both conditions were assumed, but after the enthusiasm of the village, four days earlier opened the door, in front of them was an attractive idol of God Gautam Buddha. But the chest part was incomplete.
After some time a Buddhist monk stayed inside the temple. Once the Buddha came to his dream and said that they only made the idol.
This statue of Buddha has the highest prestige image in the Buddhist world.
The statue is the state of padmasana.
From then on this place is very important for followers of Buddhism.
Stone carved railroad remained around the vihar. This railing is the oldest remnant found in Bodh Gaya.
