Planting Elephant Garlic | Winter Gardening | Over winter Garlic |

Today Im back in the garden planting a row of Elephant garlic. This super simple form of garlic is easy to grow and with a little work it will continue to produce year after year. If successful this row of 51 Cloves will yield enough root stock to plant 200 cloves next fall. Milder than traditional hard or softneck garlic these elephant garlic bulbs can reach an average of 2 lbs or more. With a maturity date of 240 days, this row will be ready for harvest early/late summer 2021.
