Life Aboard… The JMC STS Transport Starbug | Spaceship Breakdown

Описание к видео Life Aboard… The JMC STS Transport Starbug | Spaceship Breakdown

Join us as we look into what life would be like aboard the JMC Transport vessel, Starbug!

Often built over multiple generations, and large enough to consume whole cities, most JMC vessels were never built to land, never encounter wind resistance or gravity, and were instead built to transport the largest volume of mass from the outer system mining colonies to Earth, and back again.

Whether we’re talking about the two mile long grey lump that is the Arthur C Clarke, or the five mile behemoth of steel we know as the Red Dwarf, if you plan on going anywhere while you’re on board, you’re going to need to take a shuttle - and what better choice is there, than the Class II Ship To Surface Transport vessel, Starbug.

Life Aboard is a series dedicated to examining what it would be like to live, work and serve aboard some of science fiction's most notorious spaceships. Forget the laser cannons, the made up technobabble and let's ask ourselves what the important questions are - how's breakfast, and where do I sleep?
