Hello People,

I was in Decathlon and decided to check out their Oxelo MF500 blades.

Specs:
•Hard shell with removable liner
•Laces
•Rachet top strap
•Rachet mid strap
•Standard 60/40 chassis
•Lateral adjustment for pronation
•80mm wheels
•Short agile wheel base
•Removable heal brake

I'm a size 9 and 9 was perfect for me. They were very comfortable, both the rachet straps worked well and were easy to insert and release. The chassis is adjustable left and right so pronation can be dialed out. They instantly felt good and for me they would not need to be broken in. I have a pair of FR FRX 80 and I would say that they are comparable regarding comfort and performance. But the MF500 is actually a better spec due to the rachet mid strap as opposed to the velcro strap of the FRX 80.
At present, 19th January 2023 the MF500 is priced at £90 reduced to £80 which is an absolute bargain. The FRX 80 is in the region of £160, so the MF500 is half the price!
I absolutely recommend this pair of skates and suggest that you try a pair before spending more money than necessary.
