Panjabi qawwali Jogi de Naal performed live at the Barbican in London by Fanna-Fi-Allah 2022, hosted by QalandarArts.

In the poetry of this classic Punjabi Qawwali, the 18th century Sufi master Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah (ra) shares the ancient mystic love story of Heer & Ranjha as a metaphor for divine love; wherein two become one.

Abbreviated translation:
Remembering Ranjha day and night, I myself have become Rajhha.
No more will I be named as Heer.

I am Ranjha and Ranjha is me, there is no difference to be seen.
Now I am nowhere to be found.

With a staff in hand and a blanket over his shoulder.
He isn’t just any Jogi, but a form of the formless.
Captivated by Him, there is no I left to speak of.
