David Berman - Never Before Heard Interview from 2014 on the Making of American Water, Part 2

This is a second interview with David Berman from 2014 when I was interviewing him for a proposal on a book for the 33 1/3 series on American Water. I wanted to share these interviews in light of David's death today as he was really so open and kind. This is how I remember him.

He talks about music and how its changed, and goes into detail about the Pavement lyric that he pinpoints as being a clear moment for him as when he and Stephen Malkmus parted ways artistically, his creative process, stream of consciousness thoughts including remembering art shows in NYC in the early 90s when he was a guard at the Whitney and more.
