Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter-melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/4 salt
1 1/2 all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, white sugar, and brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
2. Add in the vanilla and egg, mixing again until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda.
4. Gradually add half of the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined. Then add the remaining dry mixture and mix well.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Using a small scoop, drop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet.
7. Bake for 13 minutes or until the edges are browned.
8. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a cooling rack.
9. Store in a sealed container to keep them fresh.
