Baby - Auditory Orientation 02 (3 - 10 months old)

Описание к видео Baby - Auditory Orientation 02 (3 - 10 months old)

Newborns and one month olds are able to turn head and eyes toward off-centered sound sources, although the nature of the auditory stimulus seems to play an important role in this ability. At two months auditory orientation decreases. Head turning towards sound stimuli improves again at 3 to 4 months. At six months of age the localization of sound such as a bell that is rung out of sight, becomes possible. Little is known about the neuronal basis of acoustically elicited orienting responses. Baby hearing tests are conducted by trained audiologists.
