Explore the Historic King Edward Hotel - 🇨🇦 Toronto Travel

There are so many great hotels in Toronto, today we are taking you to the the historic King Edward hotel in Toronto Canada. Want to know what a Toronto hotel that is over 120 years old is like? To give you all the info and experience in our Toronto Travel video we review afternoon tea, lunch at the Consort Bar as well as room service.

The King Edward Hotel Toronto opened in 1903 with 400 rooms and in 1922 it had a renovation adding an 18 storey tower. Now there are 301 guest rooms and suits. The Omni King Edward hotel is right in the downtown on King street and is walking distance to the Eaton Centre and the theatre district.

There are lots of Toronto Luxury hotels to choose from but not all of them offer an afternoon tea. This is a great experience that isn't offered everywhere. We highly recommend booking ahead of time and it is only available on Saturday and Sundays. The price of the food is what you would expect at a hotel downtown but there are a lot of other cheaper options in the area.

While downtown we stayed in a one bedroom suite and provide a King Edward Hotel Toronto Room tour so you know what to expect. The mini fridge is not a typical one so if you need to keep medication cold call the hotel and let them know, they will switch it for stronger one. This is good practice when traveling to any Toronto Hotels downtown with medication.
