I have the great honour of welcoming Professor Rhonda McGee, a pioneering voice in mindfulness, compassion, and social justice, to discuss how mindfulness can be a tool for social change.

In this enlightening conversation, we explore the importance of care and compassion, the inner work required to address racism and inequality, and the ways mindfulness can transform individuals and communities.

Professor McGee, author of 'The Inner Work of Racial Justice,' shares insights on how traditional ideas about identity and hyper-individualisation can cause suffering, and emphasises the need for interconnectedness.

We also discuss systemic issues and the historical context of racism, along with the role of mindfulness and compassion practices in bringing awareness and fostering courage to address these deep-rooted challenges.
