Life gain is an infamously bad effect. New players usually vastly over rate the effect before quickly realizing that it’s simply not as good as it might seem. However, while life gain isn’t the strongest thing around, there are still uses for the effect. Today, we’re going over the best cards with this effect, and to be clear, we’re going over cards that were primarily used to gain life, not cards that did other things and happened to gain life. So no lifelink Creatures, for one thing.
