I unbox and test out a new piece of gear that has just arrived! Well, new to me. The unit has actually been out since about 2012.

Side Notes:
1. The tube in the tube overdrive is not working, and the unit will have to be returned. Sweetwater tech support told me the units are out of stock and may take several weeks or months to arrive. In the meantime, he said I'm welcome to keep using this unit, until the new one arrives.

2. I said the unit did not come with an owner's manual. I was wrong-- a paper copy was at the bottom of the box, which I found 2 or 3 days later. However, a downloadable PDF copy is still available. Do not mix up the PDF with the one for the 2101 Mk1. The functions are different.

3. Any toggle pedal (like a damper pedal), will work to turn the Leslie from SLOW to FAST or visa-versa. The small Hammond foot switch is a little light and flimsy, but nice that they included it.

4. If you run the Leslie to the organ 11-pin, then the FAST/SLOW foot switch should be plugged into the organ jack. If you run the Leslie to the organ 1/4", then the FAST/SLOW foot switch HAS TO BE plugged into the Leslie jack.

5. When the Leslie is put in the STOP position, the horn rotor will slowly creep into the same position each time-- diagonal from right-front (when looking at it from the speaker mesh side (opposite the side with all the buttons and knobs)) to left-rear.

6. In a Leslie Speaker, only one horn is the actual speaker. The other horn is a dummy horn designed to simply be counterbalance for when it's rotating.
