Today I review a handheld dynamic omnidirectional microphone, the Electro Voice 635A. This is a classic interview microphone that’s been in production for decades. It rolls off around 150Hz to help with plosives, handling noise, and wind noise, and boosts from 5-10kHz to help your voice cut through a mix.
