The LA2A needs no introduction. Even if you're fairly new to the world of producing, mixing, music making and home recording, you will have at least heard about this unit!

And for very good reason - it's one of the best compressors in the world! Nearly everything you run through this unit just sounds bigger and more grand and it works brilliantly on many sources. However where it really shines is on vocals.

In this video, I compare 3 LA2As on the same lead vocal - my hardware, UAD's plugin from their UAD Spark collection, and Slate Digital FG2A from their All Access Pass.
