English: As announced by Secretary Clinton earlier this year, the Virtual Embassy Tehran website will go live this month in English at iran.usembassy.gov and in Persian at tehran.usembassy.gov. This is a platform for us to communicate with the citizens of Iran—openly and without fear—about the United States, about our policies, our culture, and the American people. While the site does not constitute a change in our diplomatic relationship with the Iranian regime, it is one of many ways in which we will seek to challenge the Iranian regime's efforts to place an electronic curtain of surveillance, satellite jamming and online filtering around its people. Virtual Embassy Tehran is another important step in our efforts to support a more direct and robust engagement between us and the people of Iran.

French: Comme annoncé par la Secrétaire d'Etat Hillary Clinton plus tôt cette année, le site web de l'ambassade virtuelle de Téhéran sera lancé ce mois-ci en anglais à iran.usembassy.gov et en persan à tehran.usembassy.gov.
