A loose rib is pretty common on old double-barrel shotguns. In this video, Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, demonstrates how to properly repair the loose rib on an antique Parker double-barreled shotgun. Once the rib is removed, the surfaces are cleaned, then using a propane torch, flux and solder, the rib is re-attached.
