UNIMOG FLOOD RESCUES (HIGH CLEARANCE VEHICLES)

Check out this amazing footage of some our new fleet in action!

These state-of-the-art High Clearance Vehicles (HCVs) - also known as 'Unimogs' - have been used in multiple rescues during the current floods.

HCVs can operate in floodwaters up to 1.2 metres and are able to function as a mobile communications hub.

Over the last week, the HCVs have proved invaluable in helping SES volunteers with flood rescues, medical evacuations and a retirement village evacuation.

A huge thank you to the SES Volunteers for working tirelessly to help the community in their time of need.
