Hiking the White Mountains | Mt Jefferson, Mt Clay, & Mt Washington | NH 4K

Went solo up to White Mountains yesterday with plans to hike Mt Jefferson and Mt Clay. On top of Jefferson I ran into two other solo hikers, Kevin and Kelsy, and we grouped up and headed to Mt Clay.

Kelsy was going to continue over Clay to Mt Washington (something I had considered doing but was going to save it for another hike). Kevin had to head back after Mt Clay so we said goodbye, and in MUCH FRIENDLIER wording Kelsy said something to the effect of "Dude you may as well hit Washington too, its right there, don't be a bitch." To which I of course had to oblige.

Turned into a nice 14 mile day in gorgeous weather. Wont be heading up to Washington again anytime soon. Place is an absolute ZOO of tourists. Not my kind of scene. But all in all another extremely memorable trip in the Whites.

The Caps Ridge Trail was good fun, and the rest of the trail was solid too. Cant really go wrong with the views in the entire Presidential Range
