Former Southaven Police Officer arrested for helping criminals steal cars, DA says

A former Southaven Police Officer faces charges as part of a multi-agency investigation.

Tony Herring, Jr. is accused of helping local criminals steal cars.

DeSoto County District Attorney Matthew Barton told FOX13 during a Wednesday press conference that there was enough evidence for Herring’s immediate termination from the Southaven Police Department.
