I have L4 and L5, actually 1 is herniated out of those 2, and L1, 2, and 3 are actually bulging. Now I live with that on a daily basis, because obviously there's no cure, there's no cure for any back pain without having surgery, without having certain types of things that you have to do to prevent yourself from getting all jacked up, feeling horrible, feeling old. And that's what I want to talk about today.
I want you to feel young, I want you to feel like you're 10 to 20 years younger. And the only way that's going to happen is you have to stay motivated, you have to get out of that chair, you've got to get off that couch, you've got to get out of that driver's seat, and you've got to start driving your life, and driving in the seat that controls your future, and how it is that you're going to act for the next 10, 20, 30 years plus.
OK, now how do I do that? Now I don't just have that, I have other stuff too. I have a torn muscle in my left knee that's never been fixed. OK? I also have, my neck, I have some, basically, some spine issues up top, where also I have some bulging disk that are inside. Now on top of that, I have to live every single day knowing that my genetics are not in my favor when it comes to my cholesterol and not in my favor when it comes to, let me check the mail here. Check the mail, see that? No mail today.
When it comes to knowing that I have to make sure that I'm not consuming the wrong foods and doing all the things that obviously are going to take me and reverse me to feeling older. Now every day that I wake up, OK, every day that I wake up, I feel great. But it's because I'm motivated. All right? It's because I'm motivated. It's because, what do I do?
I get up every single day knowing that if I sit in that chair, and if I don't get up and get motivated and get out and be active, get my 12 minute exercise in for the day, right? Don't eat right, then it's never going to help me feel younger. I'm going to constantly be battling these certain things that are in my body that remind me I'm not 20 years old anymore.
Now I've been in a couple of car accidents, I'm sure you probably, some of you out there have been in a car accident before, it's horrible. Right? It doesn't help when you get older, because you start feeling those things. But you can combat that, and how you combat that is you simply don't give up. You simply get up in the morning and you say, I'm going to crush today. All right? I'm going to crush it, and I'm going to make sure that I am going to give my all, and I'm going to make sure that I give that 12 minutes that Dan's talking about so that I can feel younger.
Because believe it or not, the exercise helps tremendously with aches and pains. Aches and pains don't have to last forever. Now if you have permanent injuries or you have injuries that obviously can be fixed by surgery, that's different. But I'm talking about just the little minor and just sometimes the aches and pains that you feel with just starting to get in your 40s, 50s, and 60s. Hey, that's part of life, I get it. But we also don't want to look older, and we don't want to act older. We want to act younger and feel younger.
It will help you get a flat belly, it will help you combat deadly diseases, it will help you get motivated, it will help you, right? It will also help you feel like you're 10 to 20 years younger. And it'll make you feel like you are a person that you should, be the best, the best that you should be. Not depressed, not sitting in a chair feeling like you're not worthy. Give yourself that time, only 12 minutes, that's all it takes, 12 minutes.
