Henri rapp: Production Sound Mixer & Location Sound Recordist

Hi, my name is Henri Rapp, and I'm a Production Sound Mixer for TV, Film, & Commercial Video Production. I'm based in Cleveland, and available for travel.

At the core of what I do as a location sound recordist, I believe it's all about capturing performances. Whether that's actors in a narrative, a comedian on stage, musical performances, or even documentary interviews, it's all about capturing these moments and fixing them in time.

Before getting into the world of video production I originally came from a commercial recording studio background. This experience as an engineer recording music & doing audio post-production still fundamentally shapes the way I approach audio today. Early on in my career I also did a bit of live sound at local venues as well. These separate distinct skill sets are still important today as these often overlap with the world of video production.
