Sorry about the sidewise text. This was originally on Tikitok and it was multiple videos broke up. This is one of my older builds but it shows almost all the steps I take when making a LARP sword. I no longer use gaff tape to reinforce the tip, now I use 2 oz leather. I also no longer use hot glue to cap the fiberglass rod, I now use rubber end caps.
