Malaysia’s Massive Hindu Festival

I’ve been very fortunate to have visited Kuala Lumpur several times in the past decade but this by far was the most exciting time I’ve ever experienced at Malaysia’s top tourist attraction only 30 minutes by train from the capital.
It was one week before the Thaipusam Festival that draws over 1 million followers every year falling either in January or February. Thousands of followers chose to visit one week before the festival that honors Lord Murugan, the God of War and Victory to beat the crowds that can make the pilgrimage extremely exhausting.
