Vicious Synths is a synth preset tutorial series by Vicious Antelope. No talking just sound design.

We will focus on cinematic music, electronic music, rock and metal (especially their progressive subgenres) and ambient music. The sound design creation scope will be varying from modern approaching to more vintage oldie stuff.

I run my software synthesizers into Ableton Live DAW.

For most videos the same method could be used in various synths as the main architecture is similar especially if they use the same synthesis method (Subtractive Synthesis, Additive Synthesis , FM Synthesis , Wavetable Synthesis, Phase Distortion Synthesis etc.). The same goes for modular synthesizers that we are going to use to create our synth presets.

Most software synthesizers combine more than one type of synthesis giving a bigger variety of options to discover in our sonic journey.
