18 Top Hits or Top Hit Tunes was one of several budget record labels of the 1950s deeply associated with Enoch Light, which issued cover versions of than-hit songs on extended play 45's and 78's. These sorts of releases tended to come in sets of three, resulting in each package containing at least a total of 18 pop tunes. Additionally, these sets often came with a "bonus selections" record of a totally unrelated back catalog compilation of tracks unified by a central theme.
