CVI 2 of 3: Practical Application

This workshop will be a follow up to the first CVI workshop on March 20. Take a deeper dive into CVI, how to support your students and get your questions answered.

Rebecca Hommer has a M.Ed in Vision Services from the University of Pittsburgh. Guided by her daughter Megan and her experience with Cortical Visual Impairment, Rebecca decided to pursue CVI. Rebecca has a Orientation & Mobility Certification from Salus University. In 2018. Rebecca earned her EdD from Northcentral University. Her dissertation topic was entitled The Barriers to Academic Success for Students with Visual Impairment in Middle and High School Inclusive Classrooms. She is also a part of Maryland’s Deafblind Project, Connections Beyond Sight and Sound.
