Conquests are finally enabled, and I have access to the first of the Master ones - Conduit. I am still quite underlevelled though as I am only 304 against 330 combatant power, so I am 26 levels under. Also, this conquest has the most ridiculous modifier I have ever seen - Volatile Shield Trade-Off - if you get to critical health, you cannot do anything and explode in 20 seconds unless you are healed by someone else. Playing solo, that means that essentially if you ever get to critical health you die. I had to adjust for all that, and that's why I am playing it super carefully, I am using Crest of Alpha Lupi, and I am always sitting behind barricades to get consistent healing and damage resistance. Overall it results in a very awkward run, but gets the job done.

The strike itself is alright, the modifiers are quite bonkers though with screebers etc. Also the boss has a time limited damage window, which is very frustrating and takes multiple damage phases as you both need to survive (and never drop to critical health) and do damage. That's why I am using LFR and Twilight Arsenal super for some quick damage. Other than that, I have Third Iteration and it is great even after the fix, absolutely amazing gun. Lastly, I have the new rocket pulse rifle to mow down enemies when necessary.

I have no idea why you cannot redo Conquests after you complete them for the first time. Honestly, it does not make any sense whatsoever, and limits the activity variety even more. We have only 6 Conquests altogether as well... We'll see where it all goes. I hate to be negative, but I really cannot see anything that can substitute old GMs now. I will do Expert Conquests as well but being high enough power it should be super easy compared to this one.
