How do I hold my heart?

Madhuban baji vrindavan baji
Tat jamuna ke teer

-He plays it in Madhuvan, in Vrindavan
And at the shores of river Yamuna

Baith kadamb pe bansi bajave
Sthir bhayo jamuna neer re

-Sitting on branches of Kadamb tree, He plays His flute
River Yamuna's water stops still to listen to His music

Dard na jani peer na jani
Shyam bado bepeer

- He doesn't know my pain and my attachment
My Lord has no worldly attachments

Meera ke prabhu giridhar nagar
Aakhir jaat ahir re
