In this video I will show you how to fix discord rtc connecting no route and discord no route rtc connecting problem.

A lot of Discord users are prevented from joining voice channels by the No Route error. The No Route error falls into the same category as the ICE Checking and Stuck RTC Connecting errors. In all cases, Discord is being stopped in its tracks when trying to connect to a voice server.

What is Causing the Discord No Route Error?
After investigating the issue and looking at various user reports, we managed to identify a few scenarios where this error might occur:

The IP address assigned to the PC was changed – This typically happens with Dynamic IP that regularly changed. In this case, the solution is as simple as restarting Modem + Router + Computer.
3rd party Firewall or Antivirus is blacklisting discord – Whenever this happens, Discord will not be permitted to maintain an outgoing connection with an outside server.
The computer is using a VPN without UDP – This is a regular occurrence since Discord is designed to only work with VPN solutions that have UDP (User Datagram Protocol).
Discord is blocked by network admin – if you’re trying to use Discord at work or from a school network, Discord could be blocked.
Server’s voice region is incompatible with your client – This is reported to happen when you try to connect to a server hosted on a different continent. The solution, in this case, is to ask the admin to change the server’s voice region.
QoS doesn’t work with your network – Maybe your network is not fit to support Quality of Service High Packet Priority. Luckily, you can disable it from the Voice & Video settings
How to Fix the No Route Error
If you’re looking for a way to resolve this particular Discord error, this article will provide you with a collection of troubleshooting steps. Below you have several different methods that other users in a similar situation have successfully followed to get the issue resolved.

To ensure the best results, start with the first method and work your way downwards until you stumble upon a fix that is effective in resolving the issue for your particular scenario.

But before moving on with the solutions, make sure your network is private (not public).

Method 1: Restart Modem/Router And Computer

Method 3: Verify Whether Discord is Blocked by Your Network Admin

Method 4: Change the Server’s Voice Region
If you’re only getting this error when trying to connect to a friend living on a different continent, the issue is most likely occurring because the server has a different voice region that yourself.

In this case, the solution is to ask the admin of the server to set a different voice region from the server settings. The server settings can be altered by the admin by going to Server Settings -- Server region.

A couple of users have reported that the issue was fixed after they used a series of commands in Command Prompt to reset their IP configurations. Some users report that the following procedure fixed the issue permanently while others report that they have to repeat these steps regularly to circumvent the error message.

Here’s a quick guide with the steps of resetting your IP configuration:

Press Windows key + R to open up a Run dialog box. Then, type “cmd” and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open up an Elevated Command Prompt.
Run dialog: cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter
Run dialog: cmd and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter
In the Elevated Command prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
ipconfig /release
Once the current IP configuration has been released, type the following command and press Enter to flush the DNS:
ipconfig /flushdns
Finally, type the following command to renew the IP configuration:
ipconfig /renew
Reboot your machine and see if the No Route error has been resolved at the next startup.
