Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Using an Excel Slicer without the Mouse
How to move focus to an Excel slicer using only the keyboard?
Can you use the keyboard in Excel to activate a slicer? Yes!
Alt, H, FD, O to enter Select Objects mode
Tab twice to get to first object
Once a slicer is selected, you can move the slicer with arrows
Tab again to move to Multi-Select, then Tab to Clear Filter then Tab to Slicer tiles.
More tabs will move to other objects and slicers

In our previous episode, we learned how to select sheet tabs with a keyboard. Today, we will tackle the challenge of selecting a slicer without using a mouse. As we all know, this can be a frustrating task, but fear not, we have a solution for you.
First, let's set the scene. We have a slicer for our product and region, and we want to add a shape or illustration to our PivotTable. Without using the mouse, we need to get to the slicer. One option is to use the F6 loop, but let's explore another method.
By pressing Alt, H, and then O, we can navigate to the objects on the far right side of the screen. From there, we can use the Tab key to move between the slicers. However, this can be a bit tricky as the arrow keys will move the slicer instead of selecting it.
But don't worry, there's a workaround. By pressing Shift+Tab, we can move back to the multi-select option and then use the arrow keys to select our desired options. This may take a few tries to get the hang of, but with practice, it becomes a quick and efficient way to select a slicer without a mouse.
