Balvenie 12 Year Old Sweet Toast of American Oak Single Malt Whisky Review

Today we are reviewing the Balvenie 12 Year Old Sweet Toast of American Oak Single Malt Whisky.

We are quite familiar with the Balveine Double Wood and the 14 year old Caribbean Rum Cask but this is one we had never tried before until we got it in for a tasting we were doing. Unusually for Balvenie it has been aged only in bourbon casks (Balvenie are know for their use of sherry casks) before being finished in toasted but uncharred American virgin oak casks.
