Great time performing with my quartet last May at La Laiterie in Brussels, with pianist Martin Daniel, bassist Manolo Cabras and Special Guest, drummer Bruno Castellucci.

My composition Great Gull was inspired by the mix of symbolism and spirituality that the bird represents in many cultures. The creature’s agility, confidence and resilience, though many more adjectives are used to describe its subtle power, emanate not from its size but its attitude.
